Last night I was logged in to the MefightClub Minecraft Server. I had reached a milestone on construction of my manor house. I wanted to see the world beyond the draw distance. I needed adventure and a sense of wonder. I encountered hidden treasures in the least likely of places.  Here is my story:

I started off looking from my manor house towards the great phallic tower. I was done building so I decided to use the rest of my stone to create a tall tower and get a better view of my area. I’d made a sign my first day to keep track of it.

Max Camber created this awesome skull in the mountain. It surprised me one day when I turned around and there it was!

The terrain is so lush and the world so full of possibilities.Moving farther in this direction, I look to the sailboat made by Defenseless. It features a glass bottom and cloth sails. To the left and slightly behind it is Sesquiculus’ treehouse.

Then I turned around from my vantage in someone’s treehouse above the wooden warehouse to peer back at the main castle:

In the valley beyond I encountered a stone and earthen longhouse and a strange stairway leading up to a workbench.

I began to head out with the water on my right hand side. I traveled for a while only to discover that our island was connected with another landmass. I chose to not go across the landbridge and instead continue to the left of this photo. Soon, my travels would leave the tamed world…

My travels will be continued…

This is awesome, but really it just screams to be a narrated FRAPS capture travelog-type show.

I’d have to get a bit involved with editing, as I wandered for over 2 hours.

Hey, I built that longhouse! Cool! There’s a tunnel in there that leads to close to the spawn point, btw… in the front door, immediately to your left in the corner. Might have to dig down one earth block to open it up.
